First-year ADS - C students Mridula J, Raju V, and Padma Priya R secured Third Place in
the National-Level "Bot Meets World" event, held at St. Joseph's College of Engineering on

March 19, 2025. Their achievement highlights their innovation and technical expertise,
bringing pride to their institution.

First-year AML students Surya S (AML B) and Athijeevanan Mathivanan (AML A) secured
Second Place in the National-Level "Working Models" competition, held at Thiagarajar
College of Engineering on March 19, 2025. Their achievement showcases their creativity
and technical skills, bringing pride to their institution.

First-year ECE - C student Surendar G R achieved remarkable success in two
national-level competitions:

Second Place in "Brain Bowl" at Saveetha Institute on March 13, 2025.
Third Place in "UDYAT" at AMET University on March 14, 2025.
Yaamini B and Yazhini A from Department of Biotechnology have won 2nd position in
“Design Showcase” conducted during Medverse 25 by Dr. MGR Educational and Research

Institute held between 24th of March.
Kalkieshwari V, Harini K and Yazhini A from department of Biotechnology have won 3rd

position in “Expert panel” conducted during Medverse 25 by Dr. MGR Educational and
Research Institute held between 24th of March.
Ritihashri N from department of Biotechnology have secured 3rd position in “Paper

Presentation” in the National Level Technical Symposium Jfinagles conducted by JCT
College of Engineering and Technology held on 21st and 22nd February.
Jafferin D.R, Dhivyadharshini K and Trisha M.A from department of Biotechnology has

participated and won 1st prize in “BioModeling" which was conducted by SIMATS
Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences on 13-14th March
2025.

Department of Biotechnology, total of 7 final year students and 3 third year students have
qualified GATE 2025 and came out with flying colors.
Mr. Arjun Sathish R, Ms. Sucharita Nagesh, Ms. Hemavarshini R from Department of

Biotechnology has selected for Niral Naan Mudhalvan Scheme with Rs.10000 under the
mentorship of Dr. S. Yuwvaranni.
Keerthana S L and Ilakiya, students from Department of Biotechnology has participated

in Plant lipids startup challenge 2025, conducted by SSN College of Engineering and
10000 monthly stipend for 6 months period for their innovative ideas.
Arjun S, Karthik P, Mohanakrishnan S and Sai Srinivas S from department of

Biotechnology have participated in the paper presentation and won 2nd prize, at Texus’25
conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology on 28th and 29th of March
2025.

Vaishnavi C and Priyanka from Department of Biotechnology has participated in the event
PROTOQUEST and won 1st prize and cash award of Rs. 2000, at Texus’25 conducted by

SRM Institute of Science and Technology on 28th and 29th of March 2025
