6 Dr. R. Nadanasabai, Associate Professor & Placement Officer,
Department of Management Studies, St. Joseph’s College of
Engineering, Chennai, who served as the resource person for the
Department of Commerce (General) - Shift I, under the School of
Business Studies, proudly hosted a thought-provoking Guest Lecture
on the topic “Implications of AI in Accounting & Finance” on 7th August
2025 at Newton Hall.. With a rich academic and industry background,
Dr. Nadanasabai shared valuable insights into how Artificial Intelligence
is transforming the landscape of accounting practices, financial

analysis, and decision-making in the corporate world.

7 Dr.J. Balamurugan published a research article in the International
Journal of Environmental Sciences (Vol. 11, No. 2, 2025) introduces a

smart healthcare system that integrates Internet of Things (IoT)

devices, cloud computing, and deep learning to detect and monitor
COVID-19 with exceptional accuracy.

8 Ms Reeba Rose L, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer
Science and Engineering has sucessfully presented a paper entitled
“Multimodal Emotion Recognition with Explainable Al for Cognitive

Human-Computer Interaction in Smart Environments” at the 5th

International Conference on Soft Computing for Security Applications

(ICSCSA-2025) organised by Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology,

Salem, Tamilnadu on 4th-6th August 2025

9 Ms Saranya D, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science
and Engineering , has attended “Industry Interface Program” at “Intellect

Design Arena Ltd” on 8th Augest 2025 which include design tour of the
company, exploring their innovative design process and key design

parameters, an insightful Next Gen AI lecture was delivered by the

expert.The program proved to be highly informative and was an

enriching experience indeed
