Dr. P. Saravanan, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Science,
successfully published an Indian patent on June 6, 2025. The patent, titled "AGRO
EYE – AI-Powered Soil Health Assessment Drone," was developed under his
mentorship in collaboration with first-year ECE students Mr. Vedhaswaruban S,
Ms. Rupika Sri S, and Ms. Swetha S.

Dr. S. M. Prakash, Assistant Professor from the Department of Science, has

published an Indian patent titled "A Method for Synthesizing Biodegradable
Polymers Using Eco-Friendly Catalysts and Renewable Feedstocks" on June 6,

2025.

Dr. P. Krishnan, Associate Professor from the Department of Science, has
published an Indian patent titled "Enhanced Thermoelectric Performance Of

Nanostructured Materials For High-efficiency Energy Conversion " on June 6, 2025

Dr. P. Saravanan, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Science, was

awarded Life Membership in the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) in
June 2025. This prestigious recognition highlights his dedication to promoting

collaboration among engineers and bridging the gap between academic research
and industrial applications of engineering knowledge.

Dr. N. R. Rajagopalan, Associate Professor in the Department of Science, served as

a reviewer for an article in the journal Physics and Chemistry of the Earth, Parts
A/B/C in the month June, 2025.
