of 8 LPA.
Ms. V Bharathi from the department of
Biotechnology student have got Higher studies in
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Madras) for the
program of M.S. by Research in the Department of

Biotechnology under Project HTRA scheme.

Santhosh K J, a dedicated student from the 2022–2026 batch of the Department
of Chemical Engineering at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, has achieved a
remarkable milestone by securing multiple prestigious recognitions from NPTEL.
He has been honored with the NPTEL Discipline Star and NPTEL Motivated
Learner awards for the Jan–Apr 2025 semester, recognizing his consistent

academic excellence and enthusiasm in online learning. Additionally, he has
successfully completed the SWAYAM–NPTEL Domain Certification in Energy and
Environment, which involved the completion of five rigorous courses offered by
top IITs, including IIT Madras, IIT Guwahati, IIT Roorkee, and IIT Bombay. These
included core subjects like Environmental Quality Monitoring & Analysis and

Renewable Energy Engineering, and electives such as Hydrogen Energy
Production. With a cumulative score of 349 marks, he not only met but exceeded
the domain certification requirements, demonstrating outstanding commitment
to sustainable and renewable energy learning. The Department proudly
congratulates Santhosh K J for his commendable achievements and wishes him
continued success in all future endeavors.
