Workshop on MATLAB for AI

Innovators

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, in collaboration

with the Placement Empowerment Program Centres, hosted a three-day
workshop on "MATLAB for AI Innovators" from September 1-3, 2025. Led by

Mr. S. Afsal, Senior Application Engineer at ARK Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd., the
workshop provided 52 students with hands-on experience in building AI,

Machine Learning, and Deep Learning models. Utilizing the campus-wide

MATLAB license, participants learned to create classification and regression
models and perform webcam-based object recognition, bridging theoretical

knowledge with practical, real-world applications.
