ALUMNI TALK

The Department of Biotechnology organized an Alumni Talk on April 6, 2026.The

talk was titled "My Journey as a Bioengineer: Pros and Cons of Cross Disciplinary

Research". The speaker was Dr. Pranav Vasanthi Bathrinarayanan, an alumnus from

the Batch of 2008–2012. He is currently working as a Research Fellow at the

Healthcare Technologies Institute, School of Chemical Engineering, University of

Birmingham, United Kingdom. The event aimed at inspiring students through real-

world bioengineering and cross-disciplinary research experiences.
