“One Day Workshop on Advanced Queueing Networks and its

applications" was organized at SIMATS, Saveetha University, Chennai,
on August 1, 2024. The program featured a distinguished lecture by Dr.
P. Agilan, Associate Professor from Department of Mathematics, St.
Joseph's College of Engineering. Dr. P. Agilan provided in-depth
insights into the theory and practical applications of queueing
networks. The workshop covered advanced topics, including networked
queues, Markov models, and real-world applications in
telecommunications and computing, offering valuable knowledge for

professionals and researchers.
