On 8th February, Dr. T. Amudha, Dr. S.
Sujatha, and Ms. R. Lavanya, Assistant
Professors from the Department of
Chemical Engineering, attended the
MICROPLAST 2025 workshop at Anna
University. Organized by the Tamil
Nadu State Council for Science and
Technology and the Centre for Energy

Storage Technologies, the workshop

focused on the impact of microplastics

on human health. Experts,

policymakers, and stakeholders

gathered to discuss the challenges

posed by microplastic contamination

and its long-term implications,

fostering awareness and collaborative

solutions.

Dr. N. Magesh, Assistant Professor,

and Dr. S. Vinod Kumar, Associate

Professor from the Department of

Chemical Engineering, conducted a

Career Guidance Program at Sacred

Heart Matriculation Higher

Secondary School, Sholinganallur,

on February 6, 2025, focusing on

choosing the right career path and

discussing recent advancements in

engineering and emerging courses.
