IEEE student chapter of ECE Department organized a technical session on "Embedded

Systems for Real-Time Energy Management in Solar PV and BESS." The event, held on

February 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM was targeted towards 2nd-year
students. The speaker was Akshay Kumar R, B.E., a Global PCS and Battery Expert from

the Center of Engineering Excellence, Hitachi Energy. The session aimed to help

students analyze the role of embedded systems in real-time energy management, gain
in-depth knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, and grid integration, explore PVsyst

software, and enhance their technical proficiency.

conclusion, assigned mentors to each
team, preparing them for the next event
phase.
