Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in
association with IEEE SOLID STATE CIRCUITS SOCIETY
(SBC60101M), successfully organized a webinar titled
"LPWAN in IoT Ecosystems" on February 18, 2025, from
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The Session was Led by Dr.
Mahendra Shukla, an esteemed expert in IoT and VLSI
technologies. He provided in-depth insights into Low-
Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWAN) and their
applications in IoT, highlighting energy-efficient
communication, scalability, and real-world case studies.
Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of
LPWAN technologies and their significance in IoT
ecosystems. They learned about energy-efficient and
scalable IoT network design using LPWAN. The session
also provided valuable insights into career opportunities
in IoT and the semiconductor industry.

Student Branch Chapter (SBC60101) & IEEE Vehicular
Technology Society SJCE SB (SBC10101), successfully
organized a webinar titled "Future Forward" on 21st
February 2025.The session was led by Mr. Hemchandar S
N, Founder & CEO, Aptitude Guru Hem, Chennai, India.
The webinar aimed to help students bridge the gap
between college and career by providing valuable
insights into career planning, essential professional
skills, and strategies for a smooth transition into the
corporate world. The event witnessed enthusiastic
participation from students, who actively engaged in
discussions on career growth, industry expectations, and
skill development. The speaker shared practical
knowledge and guidance to help students prepare for
their future careers with confidence
