On January 10, 2025, Mrs. Thendral N, a Part-
Time External Research Scholar, successfully
defended her thesis during her viva voce
exam. The thesis, supervised by Dr. D
Lakshmi, Associate Professor, Department
of ECE focused on the application of
Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning
(DL) techniques for developing computer-
aided diagnosis systems aimed at cervical
cancer classification using colposcopy
images.

Dr. P. Latha, Associate Professor in
