Mr. S. Manikanda Prabhu, Assistant Professor, Department of

Mathematics published a patent titled “IOT BASED AUTOMATIC
STUDENTS ATTENDANCE MONITORING SYSTEM” with Design Number :

411465-001. The invention relates to an Internet of Things (IoT) based
system designed for the automatic monitoring and recording of student

attendance. By utilizing IoT devices such as RFID readers, biometric
sensors, and facial recognition cameras, the system tracks student

presence within educational institutions. The real-time data collected is
transmitted to a cloud-based server for storage, processing, and
analysis. This innovation aims to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and

        security of attendance tracking processes.

Mrs. SATHYA V, Mrs. NISHA A S and Mr, DURAIRAJI V, Assistant
Professor from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data
Science have successfully completed the Five day Virtual Faculty

Development Program on “Exploring wearable Tech and AI Innovations
for Personalized Healthcare” held from 3rd June to 7th June 2024,

Organized by the Department of BME, Rajalakshmi Engineering College.
