Industrial Industrial Research -SERC (Wind
Interaction Engineering Laboratory), under the
Ministry of Science & Technology and
CEERI , Government of India, We had
detailed discussion on emerging
technologies and their real time
applications with esteemed members.
Dr. A. Abraham, Senior Principal
Scientist & Dr. C. Kumaravelu , Senior
Principal Scientist. They expressed
willingness to collaborate with our
Dr. M.RameshBabu and
Dr.V.Krishnakumar institution on several initiatives, like:
have visited Providing internships ( from multi
CSIR-SERC, CHENNAI disciplinary streams), Organizing
student skill development programs
and Supporting and Guidance for
students projects
As part of the Building Networks initiative,
Department of Information Technology faculties
Ms. Nandhini and Mrs. Sinthuja, Assistant
Professors, underwent 5 days training in the
course "Idea to Market - Confiscating National
and International Patents" organized by the
Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (CIPR),
Anna University, Chennai. Mr. Dinesh Kumar and
Mr. Abdhur Rahman, Assistant Professors, also
participated in a two-day Mentor Development
Programme organized by Bharatiya Yuva Sakthi
Trust at St.Joseph's College of Engineering .
The goal was to enhance faculty expertise in both intellectual property and
entrepreneurship to better support student startups. The outcome is a
strengthened mentorship capacity among faculty, ensuring that both
entrepreneurship and intellectual property rights are emphasized as non-
negotiable traits in fostering student innovation and startup success.
