The MBA Department has
initiated a Value Added
Course on 'Managerial
Communication and
Finance' exclusively
designed for 2nd, 3rd, and
4th-year MBA Integrated
students. This course aims
to enhance students'
communication skills in
formats such as group discussions (GD) and professional email writing.
Additionally, and hands-on experience with the stock market, allowing
students to engage in real-time trading, thus bridging theoretical
knowledge with practical application in finance."
The Department of Chemical
Engineering at St. Joseph's College
of Engineering held a two-day
workshop on October 4 and 5, 2024,
for second-year students, focusing
on hands-on training in key
research and engineering tools.
Day 1, Dr. N. Magesh, Assistant
Professor, conducted a session on
"E-Tools for Research", providing
practical insights into digital tools
for research applications.
Day 2 featured MATLAB training by Dr. Suresh, Associate Professor from
ECE, in the morning, followed by an AutoCAD session led by Mr. Ruskin
Bruce, Assistant Professor from Mechanical Engineering.
The workshop equipped students with essential skills in research,
simulation, and design software, receiving positive feedback for its
practical approach.
