St. Joseph’s College of Engineering
The Institute of Engineers (India) Tamil Nadu State Centre successfully hosted
a two-day All India Seminar on "Augmentation of Bio Ethanol & Bio-Hydrogen
from Organic Waste" on October 5 and 6, 2024. Sam Danial and Lewyn, second-
year Chemical Engineering students, clinched the first prize for their insightful
and forward-thinking presentation on sustainable bio-energy solutions. Negha
Magendran, also a second-year Chemical Engineering student, secured the
second prize for her impressive research on pigment production from biowaste
with a byproduct of ethanol.
