6 The faculty members Dr. N. R. Rajagopalan, Dr. P. Krishnan, Dr. B. Subash, Dr. S.
Manikandan and Dr. A. Mahalakshmi, from the Department of Science were
awarded Life Membership in the Indian Society for Radiation Physics (ISRP) in
April 2025. This prestigious recognition highlights their active participation
and commitment to the advancement of radiation physics
7 Dr. C. Chandrasatheesh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Science,
successfully participated in the Professional Development Programme titled
"Solar, Wind and Bio Energy Applications," organized by the National Institute
of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chennai. The
programme was conducted online from 17th to 21st March 2025 and

comprised 20 notional learning hours.

8 Dr. S. Manikandan and Dr. Senthil Murugan G from the Department of Science
took part in the Professional Development Programme on "Core and
Interdisciplinary Research Methodology and IPR," which was organized by

NITTTR, Chennai, from March 24th to 28th, 2025. The online programme
spanned 20 notional learning hours.

9 Dr. M. Suresh Published a patent titled “ NOVEL METAL-ORGANIC
FRAMEWORKS FOR EFFICIENT GAS STORAGE AND SEPARATION”.

10 Ms. M.R. Archana Jenis,Assistant professor, Departmentof Computer Science
and engineering has presented a paper titled Decoding the Genome with AI: A
Machine Learning-Based Predictive Model for the Diagnosis and Prognosis of
Genetic Disorder at the 3rd International Conference on Data Science, Agents,

& Artificial Intelligence (ICDSAAI 2025), organized by Chennai Institute of
Technology in association with the IEEE Madras Section and IEEE Computer

Society, held on 28th and 29th March 2025.

11 Ms. S. Shanthini, Assistant professor, Department of Computer Science and
engineering has presented a paper titled Yolov8 Based Real-time System for
Breed and Disease Detection in Birds to Enhance Health Monitoring at the 3rd

International Conference on Data Science, Agents, & Artificial Intelligence
(ICDSAAI 2025), organized by Chennai Institute of Technology in association
with the IEEE Madras Section and IEEE Computer Society, held on 28th and

29th March 2025.
