STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
Mariappan and Maniraj, final-year students
from our Department of Information
Technology, were honored with the Best
Paper Award at ICCCAI-2025 for their
research work titled "Enhancing Urban
Mobility for the Visually Impaired: A
Mobile-Based AI Vision System Utilizing
Real-Time Obstacle Detection." The paper
was presented at the conference held at
Sathyabama Institute of Science and
Technology, Chennai.
ECE department students have demonstrated exceptional talent and
dedication at Nexathon'25, held on 04/05/2025 at KCG College of
Technology, a team comprising CARMEL ABIGAIL, DHAANIYA N, JAYA
PREETHA S, and PRAVEENA M (all from III year) secured the Runner-Up
position. Additionally, CARMEL ABIGAIL secured an internship at Enlight
Wisdom. The team was mentored by Mrs. P. Elaveni and Dr. R. Niruban.
