On 25-4-2025, 4 student
teams from the
Department of
Electronics and
Communication
Engineering were
awarded START STEP
Smart Cards by
StartupTN in
collaboration with EDII-
TN . This initiative aims
to promote and nurture an entrepreneurial cultureamong young innovators.
This Smart Cards will provide the teams with access to various startup

resources, mentorship and funding opportunities. The recognition encourages

students to transform their innovative ideas into successful ventures in the
near future.

Two of our II Year ECE students, M. Praveen Kumar and Berno R. S., participated
in the Workshop Series on MATLAB for AI, Data Analytics, and IoT organized by

MathWorks. Among 60 participants from various universities and colleges

across Tamil Nadu, they have emerged as winners, receiving the Best MATLAB
Usage Award and Best ThingSpeak Dashboard Award, respectively.
