GUEST LECTURE
The Department of Chemical Engineering of St. Joseph’s College of
Engineering, in association with The Institution of Engineers (India), organized
its first Guest Lecture on the topic "Identify Macroeconomic Trends for New
Battery Technology" on 25th July 2025. The session was held at the Library
AV Hall from 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM and witnessed active participation from
faculty and students. The distinguished speakers for the event were Mr.
Priyansh Mohan, CEO of MEINE Electric Automotives Pvt. Ltd., and Mr.
Shriram Radhakanth, Scientist - Electrochemistry at the same organization.
Both speakers shared deep insights into the evolving battery technology
sector, focusing on the macroeconomic factors influencing research,
development, and commercialization of new battery technologies, especially
in the electric vehicle and renewable energy domains.
