7 Dr. A. Uma Devi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Science at
St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai, successfully completed
an internship training at Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited, Manali,
from 19th to 24th May 2025. During the six-day training, she was
attached to the Production and Quality Assurance Departments
8 Dr. A. Arulmozhi (Assistant Professor), Dr. N. Punitha (Professor), and
Dr. A. Mahalakshmi (Assistant Professor) from the Department of

Science successfully participated in the Professional Development

Programme titled "Crafting COs, POs, and PEOs," organized by the
National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research

(NITTTR), Chennai. The programme was held in offline mode from May

19 to 23, 2025, and comprised 30 notional learning hours.

9 Dr. K. Jayamoorthy, Associate Professor in the Department of Science,
reviewed a total of 19 articles across 11 different journals during May

2025. These included one article each for Nuclear Instruments and

Methods in Physics Research, B; Desalination; International Journal of

Biological Macromolecules; Journal of Photochemistry &

Photobiology, B: Biology; Measurement; and Materials Science in
Semiconductor Processing. He also reviewed two articles each for

Mini-Reviews in Organic Chemistry, Journal of Molecular Structure,

Chemical Physics Impact, and Separation and Purification Technology,

and five articles for Current Organic Chemistry.

10 Dr. G. Baskar, Professor from the Department of Biotechnology has
received a reviewer certification for his contribution in BMC

Biotechnology and Urolithiasis.
