17 Ms. A. Anli Dino from the Department of Biotechnology has
successfully completed industrial training program in the Cornerstone
Additive Manufacturing Solutions (P) Ltd from 10/05/2025 to
24/05/2025.
18 Dr. M. Shree Rama from the Department of Biotechnology has
successfully completed online Swayam course “Animal Waste
Management” with 81% Marks.

19 Ms.Kavitha , Assistant Professor in the Department of Information
Technology along with students C. Gokul, and S. Agilan presented a

paper titled “Advanced Colorectal Cancer Prediction Using CNN and
XGBoost Algorithm” at the 2024 IEEE International Conference on

Innovative Computing, Intelligent Communication and Smart Electrical

Systems (ICSES). The paper is published in the conference

proceedings (pages 1–6) and is indexed in Scopus.

20 Ms. Siva Shankari B, Assistant Professor, from the Department of
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has served as a distinguished
jury member at the SAP HACKFEST 2025, hosted by Chennai Institute

of Technology, Chennai.

21 Dr. Kotteeswaran R, Associate Professor, from the Department of
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has successfully published, a

patent titled, “AI Powered Digitization of Tamil Handwritten

Documents Using Fine-Tuned Transformer-Based OCR”. Application
No.202541043108 A, Publication Date : 30/05/2025

22 Dr. R. Avudaiammal, Professor , Department of ECE has published
Patent titled “ IoT-Based Agricultural Monitoring and Automation

System”.
