St. Joseph’s College of Engineering
VALUE ADDED COURSE
The Department of Chemical Engineering, St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, successfully
organized two intensive five-day Value Added Courses in September 2025 as part of its
ongoing curriculum enrichment initiatives. The first course, held from 1st September 2025
to 8th September 2025, was exclusively tailored for the final year Chemical Engineering
students. The sessions were conducted by Dr. Affrose from iGenuine, who engaged the
students with comprehensive lectures and hands-on demonstrations on Cheminformatics.
Following the success of the first program, a second Value Added Course was conducted
from 15th September 2025 to 19th September 2025 for the third year Chemical
Engineering students. Handled by the same expert team, this course expanded its focus to
cover Cheminformatics, Optimization Tools, and Molecular Design Tools.
