Dr. M. Chamundeeswari from Department of Biotechnology delivered an oral presentation on
the topic “Enhancing Plastic Biodegradation Using Metal Nanoparticles in Combination with
1 Soil Microbiome from Agricultural Fields” at the Bio & NanoTech 2024, held from October 30
to November 1.
Dr. N. Venkatesh, Head of the Department, Department of Chemical Engineering, active
2 participation in this FDP underscores his commitment to enhancing entrepreneurial
opportunities for students in the Department of Chemical Engineering. The six-day Faculty
Development program was organized by ISBR Business School, Bangalore.

Dr. P. Latha Associate Professor ECE Department has successfully completed a 5-day workshop
on "RTL to GDSII using Synopsys Tools" organized by the Department of Electronics &
3 Communication Engineering at G Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Sciences and Atal
Incubation Centre GNITS, Hyderabad in collaboration with Synopsys Inc under its SARA
(Synopsys Academic and Research Alliances) and VLSI EXPERT Private Limited.

Mr.K.Swaminathan from Department of computer science and engineering has successfully
4 completed the NPTEL Online certification course on "Cloud Computing" Organised by NPTEL

Ms. M.R. Archana Jenis from Department of computer science and engineering has been
recognized for her outstanding contribution as a reviewer at the IEEE Technically Co-
sponsored 2024 International Conference on Smart Technologies for Sustainable
5 Development Goals (ICSTSDG). The conference, organized by S.A. Engineering College in

association with IEEE Madras Section and other IEEE societies, took place from November 6-
8, 2024, in Chennai.

Mrs. Shiny R M from Department of computer science and engineering has successfully
completed an online Faculty Development Programme on ‘Deep Learning with Generative AI
6 for Computer Vision’of 40 hours duration organized by the Electronics and ICT Academy
(Phase-II), Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design
and Manufacturing, Jabalpur, during November 08-19, 2024.
