St. Joseph’s College of Engineering

Dr. N R Rajagopalan from the Department of Science has successfully completed three
NPTEL courses along with a Faculty Development Program (FDP). The initial course,
31 "Introduction to Basic Spoken Sanskrit and Intermediate Level of Spoken Sanskrit," was held
from July to October 2024. The second course, "Developing Soft Skills and Personality,"
occurred from August to October 2024, and the third course, "Basic Environmental
Engineering and Pollution Abatement," was conducted from July to October 2024.

Dr. P Saravanan from the Department of Science has successfully finished a 12-week NPTEL
32 course and Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled "Basic Environmental Engineering and
Pollution Abatement," achieving a consolidated score of 81%. This program was conducted
from July to October 2024.

Dr. K Jayamoorthy from the Department of Science has successfully completed two NPTEL
33 courses and a Faculty Development Program (FDP). The first course, titled "Patent Drafting
for Beginners," was conducted from July to August 2024, while the second, "Advance Course
in Social Psychology," took place from July to October 2024.

Dr. S. M. Prakash from the Department of Science has successfully completed a 12-week
34 NPTEL course and Faculty Development Program (FDP) entitled "Advanced Transition Metal

Chemistry." This program took place from July to October 2024.

35 Dr. K. Arun, Associate Professor from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Secured Elite
Certificate and Topper 5% in “Sustainable Energy Technology” in NPTEL Exam.

36 Ms.Meena Kumari Bugatha N of AML department had completed the course of big data
computation scoring 77% with ELITE proficiency

37 Ms.Bhuvaneswari K of AML department had completed the course of Introduction to
Industrial 4.0 and Internet of Things scoring 71% with ELITE proficiency

Dr. R. Selvam, Associate Professor from department

of Mechanical engineering Secured Elite silver and

Top 1% certificate in “Basics of Mechanical

engineering -1” In NPTEL Exam.

Department of Biotechnology faculty
Dr. M. Chamundeeswari successfully completed the

NPTEL course and secured Overall 5th rank. This is
demonstrating her commitment to continuous

professional development and excellence in
teaching.
