St. Joseph’s College of Engineering
The 2nd International Conference on Frontiers in Industrial Biotechnology (ICFIBT
2025) was organized by the Department of Biotechnology, St. Joseph’s College of
Engineering, Chennai on January 27 and 28, 2025. The event was conducted in
collaboration with the Biotech Research Society, India (BRSI), the International
Bioprocessing Association (IBA), and the Indian Society for Technical Education
(ISTE). The conference was graced by distinguished chief guest Prof. Ashok Pandey,
Executive Director, Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Lucknow and
guests of honor, Prof. Jose Antonio Teixeira from the University of Minho, Portugal;
Dr. Reeta Singhania from the National Kaohsiung University of Science and
Technology, Taiwan; and Prof. Sindhu Raveendram from TKM Institute of
Technology, Kollam, India. Their presence underscored the international significance
of the event, fostering a platform for knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary
collaboration in the field of industrial biotechnology.
