Mr. Uvarajan M and Ms. Mithra L, first-year students
from the Department of Chemical Engineering,

received certificates for presenting an online paper

titled "Keratin Hydrogel Extraction from Chicken

Feathers: A Green, Sustainable Approach for Tissue
Regeneration." They secured Second Prize at the 35th

National Level Inter-University Chemical Engineering

Students' Seminar (InChES' 25), organized by the
Department of Chemical Engineering, Annamalai

University, on February 7, 2025.

Ms. Pavithra C, a first-year student from the

Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data

Science, received a certificate for her participation
in the State Level Essay Writing Competition held

in January 2025. She was awarded the Incentive

Prize of ₹1000 for her essay titled
"ந வா வ ந ெனற

அ யா த வ வ ." The competition

was organized by the School of Arabic and Islamic
Studies, in collaboration with Kilakarai Bukhari

Aalim Arabic College, Vandalur, Chennai.

Shanju Shriya, a first-year student from the
Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data

Science, was awarded a certificate for her

participation in Quizverse, a contest conducted as

part of REVI'25, a National Level Technical
Symposium organized by the Department of CSE

(Cyber Security) at Chennai Institute of

Technology. She secured 1st place in the
competition and received a cash prize of Rs. 1500.
