C H A P T E R A C T I V I T I E S
On 20 September 2024, Department of EEE in
association with IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity
Group of St. Joseph’s College of Engineering organized
a session titled "Rewire Your Minds: Unleash Your
Potential with a Positive Mindset," featuring Ms.
Padma Kumaran, a renowned mindset speaker,
corporate trainer, motivational speaker, author, and
certified IFC coach on career growth.. She had shared
insights on the power of a positive mindset, focusing
on how it can drive personal and professional growth.
She emphasized techniques for overcoming self-doubt,
setting clear goals, and fostering resilience in the face
of challenges. OUTCOME: The session left students
motivated and equipped with practical tools to harness
their potential. As an outcome, students reported
increased confidence in managing academic pressures
and career planning, feeling more.
Department of EEE in association with IEEE Women in
Engineering Affinity Group of St. Joseph’s College of
Engineering organized a session titled "Tips and Tricks
to Win SIH 2024 on 19 September," featuring Ms.
Jeyashri R, an Associate Software Engineer at Prodapt
and SIH Winner 2022. Students reported increased
confidence in tackling problem statements and
working as a team. They gained a clearer
understanding of the SIH format and felt better
equipped to develop innovative solutions and manage
their time effectively during the hackathon.
