Two teams from the Department of Chemical Engineering shared the first prize in
GreenHack'24, a national-level hackathon organized by Sri Siva Subramaniya Nadar
College of Engineering on 19th and 20th September 2024.

The winning teams were awarded a cash prize of ₹9,000
each for their outstanding solutions to environmental
challenges. Out of 44 teams, 12 teams from the
Chemical Engineering Department of St. Joseph's College
of Engineering participated, with two emerging as the
top performers. Their innovative approaches to
sustainable technology earned them top honors in this

competitive event.
