Alumni Talk
Mr. Amirish Krishnan, an alumnus of the CSE department
and Founder & CEO of MY PRO BUDDY, addressed first-year
students organized by the Department of Maths & English,
emphasizing an entrepreneurial mindset characterized by
creativity and resilience. He shared insights on recognizing
opportunities, emphasizing market research and customer
needs assessment. Through anecdotes, he elucidated
transforming ideas into viable ventures, stressing strategic
planning and execution. Highlighting the importance of
proactive problem-solving in entrepreneurial endeavors.
Department of Biotechnology organized
an insightful alumni talk on March 14,
2024, featuring Ms. Jananie T, currently
pursuing Clinical Embryology at Saveetha
Medical College and Hospital in Chennai.
The event aimed at providing students
with valuable insights into the field of
biotechnology. Ms. Jananie T shared her
experiences and knowledge, offering
guidance on career paths and
opportunities in clinical embryology. The
talk served as a platform for students to
connect theory with real-world
applications, fostering their understanding
and interest in the biotech industry while
showcasing diverse career possibilities.
Department of Chemical Engineering organized an
International Alumni Webinar was conducted featuring Mr.
Deni Allen, a distinguished member of the 2018–22 Batch,
who shared his insights on pursuing higher education abroad.
Topics included study destinations, scholarships, and
strategic planning. Attendees gained guidance for their
educational and career aspirations beyond boundaries.
Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an
alumni talk by Vasanth J (Batch 2018-22), Sudharshan.
P.L (Batch 2016-20), and Ashwin, P (Batch 2016-20) at
our college on 23/03/2024, emphasizing the importance
of Coding in Core Industries, strategies to crack GATE,
and interview preparation. First and third-year
Mechanical Engineering students engaged in a fruitful
discussion with their alumni, gaining valuable insights for
their academic and professional growth.
