IEEE SIGHT SJCE SB - AG, with the IEEE
St. Joseph’s College of Engineering,
hosted an online colloquium titled

"SIGHT - INNOVATESight Innovate -
Benefits of SIGHT" on March 17, 2024,
led by Niranjan Kumar Sethu
Venkatraman. The session highlighted
vision's diverse advantages, from
technology to mental health, stressing
its role in human experience
enhancement.Speakers discussed
privacy, bias, and equitable access,
addressing societal implications like
socio-economic disparities. Emphasizing
vision's pivotal role in human CYBER SHIELD : 5G AND IoT
enrichment and inclusivity, the session
urged ongoing research, innovation, and The Department of Information
ethical considerations to fully leverage Technology, in collaboration with the

organized an enlightening online session
featuring Mr. Samuel Tensingh from the

University of Sydney. Focused on
cybersecurity's pivotal role in 5G and IoT
landscapes, Tensingh aimed to educate
third-year students. Attendees gained
invaluable insights and practical
strategies to address cybersecurity
challenges in emerging technologies.

participants were equipped to navigate
potential threats, This session, a beacon
of knowledge, provided actionable
guidance for safeguarding against
vulnerabilities, ensuring that students
