E-BAJA EVENT

The inauguration of the vehicle took place on 28/02/2024, with the
presence of the chairman, director, principal, deans, HODs, staff,
and student members. The vehicle was presented and explained to
the chairman. Under the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
Student Chapter, the BAJA SAE INDIA 2024 E-baja event involved
the participation of 25 students from the Mechanical & Electrical
departments, forming the team named Team Inferno Racing. After
being shortlisted from 800 teams in the design phase, the team
spent two months constructing the vehicle on campus. They
achieved the 16th position overall and the 4th position in Tamil
Nadu out of the 100 shortlisted teams. The event took place at
BVSRIT College, Hyderabad, from 06/03/24 to 10/03/2024.
