SCHOOL PROGRAM
On 21st and 22nd July 2025, the
Department of Chemical
Engineering at St. Joseph’s College
of Engineering organized the
“Excellence” programme for
students from Arupadai Veedu
Matriculation Higher Secondary
School, Thiruporur. A total of 240
students participated in this two-day
educational initiative. As part of the
programme, students were taken on
a guided tour of the PEP Center
Advanced Lab, where they
witnessed modern equipment and
technologies used in chemical
engineering research and industrial
applications. Interactive
demonstrations and expert
explanations helped the students
understand real-world engineering
concepts. The programme aimed to
create awareness about STEM
education and inspire young minds
towards careers in science and
engineering.
