INDUSTRIAL COLLABORATION

On 6th February, Dr. T. Amudha and

Dr. N. Magesh, the Industry

Coordinator of the Chemical
Engineering Department, visited

Kothari Petrochemicals, Manali, Tamil

Nadu, and met with Mr. P.

Premapriyan, Vice President-

Operations, to discuss the Industry.

Institute program, focusing on industrial visits, placements, guest lectures,

internships, and training programs to enhance student learning and
professional development. The meeting went well, and a positive outcome is

expected.

On 7th February, Dr. S. Vinod Kumar and Dr. N.
Magesh visited The Institute of Engineers'

regional office to discuss the initiation of a

student chapter for the Department of Chemical

Engineering. This initiative aims to connect

students with industry experts and help them

upskill their abilities, providing valuable
exposure and networking opportunities in the

engineering field.

ECE faculty Dr. D. Lakshmi and Dr. J. Sivakumar recently

visited Kone Elevator India Private Limited in Chennai to

explore collaboration opportunities. They met with Mrs.
Sweeda Sherin and Mr. Sai Kiruba M to discuss a

potential MoU, technology transfer through guest

lectures and workshops, faculty training, and paid

internships leading to placements.
