Around 10 students from Department of EEE along with Mr. Nishant S,
Assistant Professor/EEE have visited the Tamil Nadu Climate Summit 3.0 on
February 4, 2025 at Chennai Trade Centre, Nandambakkam
Students had an enlightening
opportunity to discuss climate action
with professionals and policymakers at
the Tamil Nadu Climate Summit 3.0. In
order to fight climate change, the
summit underlined the significance of
carbon footprint reduction, renewable
energy, and sustainable behaviors.
Innovative approaches in fields including eco-friendly technologies, green
infrastructure, and waste management were presented to the students. The occasion
sparked conversations about how young people may spearhead environmental
preservation initiatives. A greater awareness of climate issues and the pressing need
to embrace sustainable practices for a more environmentally friendly future
accompanied the participants' departure. The conference was a positive step toward
creating communities that care about the climate.
