IIW - WORKSHOP
Indian Institute of Welding (IIW) student Chapter in collabration with
Department of Mechanical, conducted a workshop on 06/02/2025. Mr. M.
Siva, Assistant Professor from Mechanical Department was the resource
person gave a lecture on “Working, Application, and Versatility of
Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding, featuring an insightful session by
Speaker. The session aimed to educate attendees about the fundamental
principles, industrial applications, and advantages of TIG welding over
other welding techniques. With its high precision, clean welds, and ability
to work with a variety of metals, TIG welding is an essential process in
industries requiring high-quality fabrication. The talk provided a blend of
theoretical concepts ensuring that participants gained understanding of
TIG welding techniques, equipment, and safety measures.
