SCHOOL EVENT
On 27th June 2025, students from various schools visited the Department of
Information Technology and attended special lectures highlighting the
significance and emerging trends in the field of IT. The sessions sparked
curiosity and awareness among the students, offering them valuable
exposure to in-demand technologies and potential career paths in information
technology.
SPECIAL TALK
On 25th June 2025, the Department of
Information Technology hosted a special talk
exclusively for faculty members on “Outcome-
Based Education: Principles, Practices, and
Assessment Mapping.” Dr. T. Sree Sharmila,
Associate Professor from College of
Engineering Guindy, Anna University,
delivered the session. The talk offered key
insights into structuring curriculum around
measurable outcomes. Participants gained
clarity on assessment strategies aligned with
OBE standards.
