8 Dr. S. Vinod Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical
Engineering, St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, Chennai, has achieved a

remarkable milestone by publishing a patent in the Patent Office Journal

No. 39/2025 dated 26th September 2025. The patent, titled “Secure Data
Transmission Protocol for IoT Devices Using Adaptive Spread Spectrum

Techniques” (Application No. 202521087316A), focuses on enhancing

confidentiality, integrity, and energy efficiency in Internet of Things (IoT)

networks.

11 Ms. Umayal A.R., Assistant Professor in the Department of AML, has
published a patent titled "AI-Driven Cyber Security Framework for

Automated Threat Detection and Mitigation," with application number

202541083490, published on 26/09/2025.

12 Dr. Adlin Sheeba, Professor and Head of the Department of AML, has
successfully completed the Elite NPTEL Online Certification course

"Demystifying Networking" with a consolidated score of 78% during
July–August 2025, and has also completed the NPTEL-AICTE Faculty

Development Program (FDP).

13 Dr. M. Chamundeeswari, Associate Professor of Biotechnology has
successfully completed the NPTEL Online Certification Course on

“Proteins and Gel-Based Proteomics” during July–August 2025. She

achieved an Elite grade with a Silver Medal and consolidated score of
75%, demonstrating excellence in the field of proteomics and a strong

commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

14 Dr. M. Chamundeeswari, Associate Professor of Biotechnology, has
successfully completed a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) during

July–August 2025. She achieved outstanding performance,

demonstrating excellence in her field and a strong commitment to
continuous learning, professional development, and the enhancement of

academic and research skills.
