LECTURE
A guest lecture on “Automation in
Renewable Energy Systems” was
conducted on 03.02.2026 for III
year EEE students. The session
was delivered by Mr. Anbarasan
M, Controls Lead Engineer, GE
Vernova, Chennai. The lecture
provided insights into automation
technologies used in modern
renewable energy systems.
Students gained valuable industry
exposure and understanding of
real-time applications in the
renewable sector.
ALUMNI TALK
An alumni talk was conducted on 05.02.2026 for EEE students
by Mr. T. N. Velayudham (EEE, 2011–2015 batch), Associate
Consultant – Observability Track, HCL Tech. The session
focused on introducing AI and ML fundamentals relevant to
Electrical Engineering. He explained real-time industry
applications of AI/ML in the EEE domain. The alumnus shared
valuable career guidance and professional experiences with
the students. The talk inspired students to explore advanced
EEE projects and research opportunities using AI/ML.
